NOTICE OF CANCELLATION AND

CERTIFIED STATEMENT OF RESULTS

§1-13.5-513(6), 32-1-104, 1-11-103(3) C.R.S.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Mountain Vista Metropolitan District, Eagle County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 6, 2025 is hereby canceled pursuant to section 1-13.5-513(6) C.R.S.         

The following candidates are hereby declared elected:

Jesse Larson                            4 Year Term                until May, 2029

Christopher Colantonio          4 Year Term                until May, 2029

Vacant                                       2 Year Term                until May, 2027

Karolina Sosnowka/Designated Election Official

Eligibility 

To be eligible to run for a Board seat, a person must be an “eligible elector” in the District, which is defined as a registered voter of Colorado and either: 

1. A resident of the District for not less than 30 days, or
2. The owner ( or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District, or
3. A person is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase a taxable property.
